Gaia was the great Mother of all: the primal Greek Mother Goddess, creator and giver of birth to the Earth and the entire Universe. This series of artwork expresses my love towards nature and all living things on the planet Earth. A fluffy rabbit, a sexy fox, a tiny squirrel, a field of bamboo shoots, fresh grasses, a spiky sea urchin, an intricate sea anemone, a black coal mine field, colourful minerals, a rough quarry, a bubbling oil field and many more, these are all subjects of interest. I am drawn to their magic and mystery. Beauty is truly everywhere when we know how to appreciate and treasure. My life wouldn’t have been the same if I experienced only a limited access to the world and all the beauty it contains. Therefore, physical, spiritual and intellectual freedoms are the criteria of my creativity and wellbeing.
